Today is the second day of Day of the Dead. A celebration that has its roots in catholicism. In Mexico for example, people honor their loved ones with big parties, food, and dancing for two days (Nov 1 and Nov 2) at cemeteries. In my country, Venezuela, for instance, the celebration is more quiet. We lit candles, pray, and remember the love and the moments lived with those who have left this world but are eternally in our hearts. Venezuela as opposed to Mexico, celebrates Dia de los Muertos or Dia de los Santos Difuntos on November 2 only.
